Saturday 31st March - Saturday 7th April for 8-14s at Abberley Hall

The Easter Egg-Stravaganza

A Multi-Activity Superweek

A week with an Easter-y twist and special spring time activities. In previous years we equipped eggs with parachutes and send them on adventures, saved the Easter Bunny, visited the farm to see new lambs and looked after our very own pet eggs!

School of Shenanigans

Friday 26th July - Friday 2nd August for 8-14s at Edgmond Hall

School of Shenanigans

A Multi-Activity Superweek

This summer, our spymasters will be putting you through your paces in the School of Shenanigans! Alongside an array of Superweek games you could find codes to crack, bad guys to deceive, and disguises to don, but of course we’re not at liberty to disclose those details with you. You’ll need to be crammed with cunning, stuffed with stealthy-ness, and dosed-up with deviousness. We look forward to having you on board, agent.
This Superweek description will self-destruct in 5… 4… 3… 2… 1…

The Wild Things

Friday 26th July - Friday 2nd August for 10-15s at Penn Wood

The Wild Things

Connecting with the Big Outdoors

If you go into the woods today, you’re sure of a big surprise: a Superweek under canvas! We’ll be spending the week with nature, mixing the usual ATE fun and games with bush crafts and exploring the big outdoors. We’ll be bringing in Wild Experts to skill us up in forest-living and survival techniques. In the past we’ve built fires and cooked meals on them, honed our woodcraft and knife skills, and built shelters to keep out the weather. Let the Wild Rumpus start!

Into the Wild

Saturday 3rd August - Saturday 10th August for 8-14s at Penn Wood

Into the Wild

Connecting with the Big Outdoors

Into the Wild will feature all the fun and games you would expect on a Superweek, and all the outdoor activities you’d find on The Wild Things, tailored to suit a slightly younger age group. We’ll have Wild Experts on hand to skill us up in forest-living and survival techniques. In the past we’ve built fires and cooked meals on them, honed our woodcraft and knife skills, and built shelters to keep out the weather.

We’ll be camping in shared group tents, on camp beds or airbeds.

A Splendid Adventure

Saturday 3rd - Saturday 10th August for 10-15s at White Hall

A Splendid Adventure

A Multi-Activity Superweek

We’ve found a brand new centre to explore, and we’re looking for some pioneering Superweekers to put it to the test! White Hall sits in the wild and wind-swept moorlands of Derbyshire, and is the perfect setting for an adventure. It’s a brilliant combination of grand and historic, and cosy and homely. There will be games to play, woodlands to get lost in (so long as you promise you’ll find your way back), and more fun to be had than you can shake a kneetapper at.

Party at the Park

Monday 12th - Monday 19th August for 8-14s at Moor Park

Party at the Park

A Multi-Activity Superweek

We’ve carnival-ed in the castle, hi-jinked at the hall, and festival-ed at the farm, but this year it’s the return of a classic: Party at the Park. We love parties: they have all the best things, and so does our party Superweek! Silly games, brilliant food, great company. It’ll be more fun than a game of musical statues, and there won’t be a cheese-and-pineapple hedgehog in sight. We’ll have a lark at Moor Park, one of our favourite centres – it even has a pool! We’re excited to receive your RSVP.

The Final Fling

Monday 12th - Monday 19th August for 14-16s at Frank's Place

The Final Fling

For our older Superweekers

Since the Final Fling is designed for the older age group, the week will allow our Superweekers to have more responsibility for the structure of the week. Along with the fun and festivities of a typical Superweek, there’ll be more emphasis on team building, leadership and group challenges. Despite the urban myth, coming on this week needn’t be saved until your very last ever summer with ATE! Plenty of people do it three times.

The GreATE Make

Tuesday 20th - Tuesday 27th August for 8-14s at Moor Park

The GreATE Make

Think. Make. Create.

The GreATE Make will be a hub of creativity, invention, and curious minds. In previous years we have held Team: ImaginATE and Team:InvestigATE together at Moor Park, but we want to offer more collaboration between the two themes: on the GreATE Make, you will have more choice over how you spend your workshop time. If you are arty, crafty, makey, thinky, keen on science or technology (or maybe even maths), this is the week for you!*
* No expertise required at all. Just enthusiasm.

Antics at Abberley

Tuesday 20th – Tuesday 27th August for 10 -15s at Abberley Hall

Antics at Abberley

A Multi-Activity Superweek

Abberley Hall is officially our Posh Centre. It’s over 500 years old, and boasts fishing lakes and even a clock tower that was built as part of an aristocratic rivalry! If we’re lucky, we might be allowed up the tower to take in the view. Abberley Hall has 90 acres of premium game-playing land, ideal for running around and being noisy or for eating marshmallows round a fire. There’s also a brilliant swimming pool. We’ll be preparing some exciting exploits to keep you on your toes. We hope you can join us to see off the summer in style.
