Hello I’m Connor, I’m going to be a Monitor on a Superweek this summer!
I love Superweeks!
My favourite thing to do on a Superweek is take a moment to be as noisy as possible. You just don’t get the chance to be really, really noisy in day to day life, but when you’re in the middle of a field and you’ve just played the 173rd new game you’d never ever heard of before and you need to let out some of that excitement … it’s probably the best way to do it.
Real Life …
When I’m not on a Superweek I work as a Teaching Assistant and I try to see my friends a lot and make them play board games. Then, if the weather is just the right combination of sunny and windy then I go out with my kite and get pulled around by the wind.
This will be my 6th Superweek, (I think, but they aren’t easy to keep track of). I went on my first Superweek in 2009, I’d never done anything like it before but someone that had been a Monitor before said I should try it out. They are a really excellent way of trying out new things you might have never heard about before.
