This is Kirsty F!
Don’t worry, she doesn’t dress like a witch all the time, she is in-fact an ATE Monitor who’s been working with us for a number of years. We thought we’d ask her a couple of questions to get to know her a little better:
How did you find out about ATE?
In my first year at University I was sent through lots of different volunteering options. I read through some information about ATE and it looked interesting so I signed up and I’ve been hooked ever since!
What do you do in the ‘real’ world?
I am the Station Youth Worker at RAF Waddington. I am responsible for all provision for young people between the ages of 8 and 18 that part of serving families. This includes things like running youth clubs, holiday provision, award programmes such as the Duke of Edinburgh and providing support when family members are deployed.
Oh, and generally having lots of fun!
One thing you can’t stand?
When people crack their knuckles!
What do you like doing in your spare time?
In my spare time I like to ride my horse called Gaby (that’s if it isn’t raining). I also like to spend time with my friends, go on spontaneous adventures, shop and watch drama filled teen angst (normally American) shows like One Tree Hill
And finally, do you have any hidden talents?
It’s more of a party trick but I can name all the American states in less than a minute! The last time I went for a record I managed it in exactly 48 seconds.
