This is Annie. She trained in the Easter of 2011 and was a monitor on the splendidly sugary Chocolate AGM in the summer. Let’s find out a bit more about her…
How did you find out about ATE?
Through a friend – he is crazy for ATE. It sounded so amazing that I had to give it a go and I’m very glad I did.
What do you do in the ‘real’ world?
I’m a student so I sleep a lot, am an expert at procrastination and occasionally study engineering. This generally means designing and building exciting things like electrical circuits and bridges before testing them (a.k.a destroying them!). I also love playing with LEGO, which definitely counts as work for me!
One thing you can’t stand?
I hate bananas. So I have an amazing banana sense – if there’s even a hint of bananas in cakes, smoothies etc. I’ll know about it.
What do you like doing in your spare time?
In my free time I like to do arty things like drawing, knitting, origami and calligraphy… I also like to play my piano and guitar and sing (badly).
And last but not least, any hidden talents?
I can hold my breath for AGES which is very useful for scream run and also underwater swimming, but not much else 🙂
