Monitor Focus: Miranda S

(I’m the one on the right)

How did you find out about ATE?

I found out about ATE in two ways – firstly, my cousins went on Superweeks as kids and I wanted to follow in their footsteps. Then I saw an advert for an Aquila themed Superweek in the back of Aquila magazine when I was about ten and got my parents to book me onto one straight away!

What do you do in the ‘real’ world?

I’m studying Psychology at the University of Manchester and am currently in my first year. I also waitress part time and when I go home to London, I work in the office of a GP surgery.

One thing you can’t stand?

The smell of sour cream and onion Pringles. Especially in confined public places.

What do you like doing in your spare time?

I love going to galleries, reading books and going on walks in the Peak District. And watching a lot of Netflix.

Do you have any hidden talents?

I’m really good at knitting!

What are you most excited for this Summer?

Longer evenings, picnics, ice cream, swimming, and of course doing another Superweek!
