Hijinks at the Hall
A Multi-Activity Superweek
Hijinks at the Hall is a Superweek summer camp holiday especially for children, run by The ATE Trust.
Are you sneaky? Are you stealthy? Do you like getting up to mischief? Maybe this Superweek is for you! There will be some serious shenanigans going on all week and it will be down to you, and all your new friends, to get to the bottom of what is going on. You will need every ounce of intellect, every morsel of craftiness and all of your imagination to work out who, what, how and why all of the hijinks are going on at Edgmond Hall.
Puzzles and mysteries
Tactical, strategic games
A Day Trip
In previous years we have…
We have so much fun up our sleeves that we never run the same week twice, so every Superweek is entirely unique. Here are some highlights from previous Superweeks:
Played giant battleships by torchlight in our sleeping bags
Completed top secret missions for Dr S.P.O’Narge
Designed our own pizzas for our evening meal
Held a den-building competition deep in the woods
Made our own obstacle courses and raced to be the team champions
Toasted marshmallows over the bonfire
Edgmond Hall: Our Home for the Week
Edgmond Hall is a Georgian House sat in 45 acres of its own woodland and farmland in the village of Edgmond, just outside Newport in Shropshire. The estate was once a working farm, and now the farm buildings have been converted into games rooms, group spaces and hideaways ideal for a Superweek snug. The centre has ponds for pond dipping, allotments and an animal area with pygmy goats, guinea pigs, chickens and rabbits!
