SuperTrips: The Centres

We choose accommodation according to your specific requirements. Here are three examples of favourite centres frequently used for ATE SuperTrips. Your residential could be anywhere in the U.K. we will find a centre to meet your needs.

The Woodcroft Christian Centre, Chepstow, Wales.

The Woodcroft Centre is a four acre site on which you would be the only group. There are two accommodation chalets (sleeping 25 children in each), a leader’s block with an extra 12 beds, a dining hall, and the original house which we use for a ‘snug’/meeting room and a games room. There is good outdoor space for activities, and the centre is an easy walk into Chepstow (approx. 40 mins at year 5 speed).

The children’s dormitories, contained within the chalets, sleep between 6 and 8 children. Shower and bathroom facilities are found within the chalets.

From Woodcroft, we can organise for a group to go into Chepstow for half a day; the castle is fantastic and there would also be time for the children to do a town trail and have an ice cream. For further information on The Woodcroft Centre click here

Hebron Hall, Vale of Glamorgan, Wales.

Hebron Hall is a 7.5 acre site on which you would be the only group. All facilities are within the house and consist of all accommodation, the dining room, multiple games rooms, sitting rooms and meeting rooms, and an indoor heated swimming pool (lifeguard present at all times). There is good outdoor space for activities, and the centre is an easy walk into Dinas Powys (approx. 15 mins at Year 5 speed).

The children’s dormitories sleep between 2 and 4 children. Rooms either have en-suite bathroom facilities or a bathroom right next door.

From Hebron, we can organise for a group to go either to St Fagan’s museum, or to Barry Island for half a day, or Cardiff CastleFor further information on Hebron Hall click here.

The Tythe Barn and Granary, Bromsberrow Heath, Ledbury.

A 65 acre site on which you would be the only group. The site offers multiple accommodation chalets, and a main house with dining and leisure facilities, as well as separate games halls and an outdoor swimming pool. The site was used as a fruit farm until recently and has vast games fields, woods and wonderful outdoor spaces.

The children’s dormitories, contained within the chalets, sleep between 6 and 8 children. Shower and bathroom facilities are found within the chalets.

From here we can arrange a trip into Malvern to walk the hills. For further information on The Tythe Barn and The Granary click here.
